 Jeff O'Connor, a now retired U.S. Navy Master Chief, founded Explosive Ops Gear (EOG) and in 2007 after returning home from his second deployment to Baghdad, Iraq. He is a decorated veteran of multiple combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan as a member of world's most elite bomb squad, U.S. Navy EOD.

Jeff's combat experience helped him to identify the needs of the modern warrior on the battlefield and in 2007, he released the first commercial NVG counter weight on the U.S. market.

Under his branch company, Explosive Operations Group, Jeff is also an in demand instructor in counter-terrorism, Improvised Explosive Devices, explosive breaching, and threat mitigation to both military and law enforcement organizations worldwide.
